What’s the procedure like?
On the day of your treatment, you will have your skin cleansed by our aesthetic nurse. The doctor will then identify specific areas to be treated and apply the ultrasound gel. Next, the doctor will use Ultherapy’s ultrasound imaging to scan deep within the skin to determine the optimal placement of treatment energy, and then deliver the focused ultrasound energy beneath the surface of the skin.
During the treatment, you may will feel tiny tingling and heat sensations, indicating that the collagen building process has been initiated. Comfort levels differs from person to person, but the sensation usually only lasts while the energy is being delivered.
The length of the treatment will depend on the area being treated. A face and neck procedure typically take up to 60 to 90 minutes, while chest treatment takes approximately 30 minutes. After the treatment is completed you can return to your normal activity.
Maintenance
